Celebrate World Oceans Day at Kendov Dvorec from June 8-10, 2018!

Kendov Dvorec celebrates Worlds Ocean Day with a special sustainable fish menu prepared by our chefs with a great support from our excellent local fish suppliers:

Trebuščica trout ‘žlikrofi’

Handmade pasta, traditionally made with potato filling, this time prepared with Trebuščica trout filling, served in trout soup

Local fish supplier: family owned Fish Farm Libo from Gorenja Trebuša

’Štruklji’ with wild asparagus

Traditional dumplings, filled with cottage cheese from the nearby Poljanska Valley, with wild asparagus and chives sauce

Piran sea bass with leeks and mint

Fonda Piran sea bass with young leeks, mint sauce and olive oil from Slovenian Istria

Local fish supplier: Fonda Fish Farm in the Piran bay in Slovenia

Pear & walnut

Ice cream made of baked pear with walnut ‘strudel’ roll

Kendov Dvorec celebrates UN-recognized World Oceans Day together with Relais & Châteaux properties around the world. Chefs offer sustainable fish menus in accordance with Ethic Ocean’s global product guide. This is a time to pay tribute to the sea and heighten people’s awareness of the important role they play, in a grand celebration called “Exquisite Fish.”
